The STIHL story goes back to 1926 when our founder Andreas Stihl invented the first electric chain saw.  86 years and millions of products later, the STIHL story is still strong and growing.

What we really love though is the stories we get from our customers and fans.  We share these with our employees and it motivates them to keep producing the highest quality equipment and deliver the best customer service.

Since we launched the STIHL USA Facebook page and created a community of STIHL fans, we have been able to read, see and hear even more about your love of all things STIHL while sharing with you more about who we are, and what we do.
